CareDoc: "Setting a New Standard for Next-Generation Senior Housing with Hotel-Style Wellness"
Partnering with Global Real Estate Specialist Polaris Advisor
On November 18, CareDoc announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Polaris Advisor, a real estate consulting firm, for the development of premium senior residences and wellness-focused specialized housing. Through this partnership, the two companies will jointly develop next-generation senior housing based on high-quality hospitality standards.
CareDoc has been at the forefront of expanding the market for premium senior residential care brands such as "CareHome" and "NursingHome." Polaris Advisor, which is collaborating with CareDoc, is a specialized consulting firm with expertise in global-standard hotel and resort development as well as high-end real estate planning.
This agreement focuses on developing high-end senior housing that integrates wellness lifestyles into both care and residential spaces. Leveraging their extensive experience in senior care and real estate, the two companies plan to introduce an innovative model that goes beyond existing standards. Their goal is to redefine the benchmark for premium care based on wellness content and to set a new standard for high-end senior housing that has not previously been seen in Korea.
The main areas of the agreement include: ▲ joint development of wellness hospitality content; ▲ establishment of standards for senior-customized spaces and services; and ▲ consulting on CareHome brand guidelines. A key focus is to upgrade CareDoc’s senior housing operation manual, "CareHome 2.0," to a hotel-level standard and to sequentially expand the existing brand categories to include wellness-oriented products. In addition, the two companies will establish a close collaborative system for the joint development of hotel-style senior housing, encompassing planning, design, and operational content development.
