According to statistics from "The Week Japanese" learners, 27.3% cited "free conversation with foreigners" and 26.0% cited "overseas travel or study abroad" as their reasons for learning, accounting for a combined 53.3%. In particular, people in their 20s to 40s have been leading this learning trend.
