The final presentations and awards ceremony for the '2025 Northern Region Local Collaboration Student Startup Competition,' hosted by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, took place on the 14th at Uijeongbu Culture Station Eum (Modeum Hall).

View original imageThis competition was held as part of the integrated event, the '2025 Uijeongbu Innovation City Startup Challenge,' and brought together 12 universities from northern Gyeonggi Province to share regionally based startup ideas.
A total of 10 teams advanced to the finals, presenting ideas across diverse fields such as technology, content, healthcare, tourism, and education. Among them, 'Mungstep,' a resident company at Shinhan University, received the Innovation Award for its creativity and the potential applicability of its service.
Since June, the Gyeonggi Content Agency has supported the growth of startup teams from partner universities by operating practical programs such as business plan writing, market analysis, and mock demo days through October.
Tak Yongseok, Director of the Gyeonggi Content Agency, stated, "This year's competition was an opportunity to confirm the innovative capabilities of university students in northern Gyeonggi Province," and added, "We will continue to strengthen practical support to foster an environment where startups can be established in the region."
