The Muan Makerspace and MNU Makerspace held lifestyle making programs such as "Personal Tattoo Experience & Air Freshener Making" and "Handmade Soap Making" at Namak Central Park from November 14 to 16. These programs were designed as "introductory lifestyle making experiences," allowing participants to be involved in everything from material selection to production and completion, which drew significant interest.
During the festival, 362 people participated in the handmade soap making, and 510 people joined the tattoo and air freshener experience, totaling 872 participants. The event was particularly popular among families and teenagers, with some sessions closing early due to high demand.
Lee Hyehyang, Director of Future Growth at Muan County, said, "Experiencing hands-on making in daily life is an important part of maker education," adding, "I hope the perception spreads that makerspaces are not just for experts, but open spaces where anyone can enjoy creating."
