Yangju+In Reaches Out to 100 Underprivileged Households with Kimchi-Sharing Volunteer Work
Yangju+In (President Yoo Myungdeok) carried out a kimchi-sharing volunteer activity at MMCNG in Baekseok-eup, Yangju City on November 16 as part of the "2025 Volunteer Work Delivered by Residents" project.

View original imageThis volunteer event was joined by members of Yangju+In as well as members of the Saemaul Library Yangju Branch. Yangju City Mayor Yang Soo-hyun and Jeon Su-kyung, Secretary-General of the Yangju Volunteer Center, also visited the site to lend their support. The volunteers prepared and delivered 100 containers of 11 liters of kimchi to underprivileged neighbors in the area, putting the spirit of sharing into practice.
Yang Soo-hyun, Mayor of Yangju City, said, "I am grateful to all the volunteers who consistently participate in local volunteer activities every year," adding, "Just as Yangju+In aims to do, the city will also work to improve the quality of life for Yangju citizens."
Oh Kyungok, President of the Saemaul Library Yangju Branch, stated, "I am pleased to take part in such a meaningful activity to help neighbors in need," and added, "We will continue to do our best in volunteer activities for the local community."
Yoo Myungdeok, President of Yangju+In, emphasized, "Yangju+In has been selected for the 'Kimchi Volunteer Work Delivered by Residents' initiative for three consecutive years," and added, "In 2026, we will expand our activities to help even more neighbors."
