Introduction of Exclusive Mobile Banking Service for Foreigners
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on November 17 that it sponsored the "2025 Foreigners' World Cup" and provided financial services to foreigners participating in the event.
The 2025 Foreigners' World Cup, held over two days from November 15 to 16 at Gimhae Stadium, Gimhae Citizens Sports Park Football Field, and Andong Sports Park Football Field, saw participation from around 200 people, including 10 teams from 7 countries such as China and Vietnam, as well as local residents.
As a sponsor of the tournament, Gyeongnam Bank set up a booth at the Gimhae Citizens Sports Park Football Field to provide financial services and introduced its "mobile banking service exclusively for foreigners," which is scheduled to be launched within the year. The bank also provided information on the "foreigner-only centers," which operate every other Sunday in the Geoje and Ulsan areas of Gyeongnam, and offered details about its financial products to foreigners.

According to Gyeongnam Bank, users will be able to easily sign up for mobile banking, open checking and savings accounts, and access credit loan products without visiting a branch.
