Meeting Poet Na Taejoo: "Everyday Moments Become Literature"
Daejeon Dongbu Office of Education Hosts "Literary Excursion with Family"
Poet Na Taejoo and the Daejeon Dongbu Office of Education held the "Literary Excursion with Family" on November 15 at the Na Taejoo Pulkkot Literature Museum in Gongju, Chungnam, with elementary students from the Dongbu district and their guardians participating together.
This literary excursion was conducted under the theme "My Poetry Story-Living, Feeling, Thinking!" and provided a space for families to read and write poetry together, deepening their understanding of each other's hearts through literary experience.
Participating families enjoyed a variety of programs, including a tour of the literature museum, a family treasure hunt, and creating their own Pulkkot poems, allowing them to experience poetry and literature in a more familiar and engaging way.
In particular, the meeting with poet Na Taejoo enabled participants to hear directly about the poet's life and works, letting them vividly experience the message that "everyday moments become literature."
The poems created by the families will be compiled and shared in a collection titled "My Poetry Story-Living, Feeling, Thinking!" after the event.
This program was designed not only as an on-site experience, but also to strengthen communication and emotional bonds within families, and to foster students' creative expression and humanities sensibility. It was especially meaningful in that it provided time for families to understand and empathize with one another through literary experiences.
