Lee Byungkwon, Second Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, visited the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise on November 17 as his first field schedule since being appointed as the inaugural Vice Minister dedicated to micro enterprises. During the visit, he listened to policy issues and challenges faced by micro enterprises on the ground.

There was also an extensive discussion on the direction of policy implementation that can be tangibly felt at the field level.
Song Chiyoung, President of the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise, said, "We hope that the newly established Vice Minister dedicated to micro enterprises at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, created in response to the aspirations of micro business owners, will faithfully reflect the voices from the field in policy. We will actively support future policies for micro enterprise support and the government's on-site activities."
