The warm spirit of sharing in Sokcho City, Gangwon Province, filled Yeongrangho. The '2025 Sokcho City Social Welfare Grand Festival Welfare RUN' event, held on the 15th at Yeongrangho Lawn Square, concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 citizens who completed online pre-registration, as well as social contribution activist and singer Sean.

View original imageThis year's event was designed as a sharing-centered festival with direct citizen participation, breaking away from repeated formats. Welfare RUN adopted the slogan, "Participation Together, Donation Together at Welfare RUN," and donated the entire 10,000 won entry fee per person to the Sokcho City Hope Sharing Movement Fund, aiming to help address welfare blind spots.
Singer Sean, well known for his social contribution activities, participated as a special guest at this event. One thousand citizens who completed online pre-registration joined the running course, and at Yeongrangho Lawn Square, welfare experience booths, a bazaar, and performances were held, creating a participatory festival atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy.
