View original imageThe fire authorities announced that at around 8:49 p.m. that day, they discovered the missing person amidst the debris of Boiler Tower Unit 5 at the accident site. This comes eight days after the accident occurred.
The fire authorities are currently using equipment to cut through the tangled rebar structures around the missing person and are working to secure an access space.
At approximately 2:02 p.m. on November 6, Boiler Tower Unit 5, measuring 25 meters wide, 15.5 meters long, and 63 meters high, collapsed at the Ulsan Thermal Power Plant. Of the nine workers present at the site at the time, seven were trapped.

So far, six of the trapped workers have been recovered and confirmed dead, and one person remains trapped.
