The purpose is to apply the consulting results in the field and to institutionalize improvements in the treatment of in-house subcontracted workers and the prevention of discrimination.
The 'Employment Structure Improvement Consulting Project' is a program in which experts, such as certified labor attorneys, visit workplaces directly to support the prevention of illegal dispatch in advance, reduce gaps in working conditions between primary contractors and subcontractors, and establish a mutually beneficial employment structure. It is evaluated as being effective in preemptively blocking disputes related to dispatch and subcontracting, which have been occurring repeatedly in manufacturing sites recently.
Kwon Kuhyung, head of the Yangsan Branch, stated, "The key is to prevent labor law violations, such as wage arrears, that may arise in relationships between primary contractors and subcontractors. We will actively support the spread of a culture of mutual cooperation throughout the local industry by ensuring employment stability and protecting the working conditions of in-house subcontracted workers."
