CJ ENM announced on November 13 that the monthly active users (MAU) and daily active users (DAU) of the K-pop platform "Mnet Plus" have grown approximately threefold compared to the same period last year.
Mnet Plus is a fan-teractive platform that offers an integrated experience, from content viewing to voting, support, and community activities. It is currently available in 251 countries and regions, with 80% of its total traffic coming from overseas users.
Mnet Plus surpassed 20 million MAU in September, and continued to attract users by recording 15 million MAU in October. The average daily DAU has also remained in the 3 million range.
CJ ENM cited the expansion of "fan-teractive content"-which enables users to directly participate through voting, support, and live TALK sessions-beyond simple consumption-type content, as the main growth driver. During the final live broadcast voting for "Boys 2 Planet," the number of votes peaked at 70,000 per second, and global voting for the "2025 MAMA Awards" is also ongoing.
Original K-pop content produced by the platform, such as "SUMBAKKOKJIL," "The City of Spy: NCT 127," and "WIDE K-POP NEWS," has been gaining attention. In particular, "SUMBAKKOKJIL" surpassed 1 million unique users for a single intellectual property (IP).
CJ ENM expects to further boost global fan participation through "PLANET C: HOME RACE," which will be released for the first time on December 6.
