Samcheok City Hosts Hydrogen Engine Forum and Signs Business Agreement
Accelerating the Formation of a Hydrogen Industry Ecosystem
On November 12, Samcheok City in Gangwon Province held the "2025 Samcheok City Hydrogen Engine Forum" at Sol Beach Samcheok and signed a business agreement to establish an ecosystem for the hydrogen engine industry.

View original imageThe city signed a business agreement for the creation of a hydrogen engine industry ecosystem with Tata Daewoo Mobility, the Korea Natural Gas Hydrogen Vehicle Association, and the Gangwon Technopark Foundation. They agreed to build a cooperative system covering the entire hydrogen engine industry, including technical consulting, demonstration support, and institutional improvement.
Through these efforts, Samcheok is expected to accelerate the formation of a hydrogen industry ecosystem centered on the city, attracting investment in hydrogen and liquefied hydrogen industries, creating jobs, expanding demonstration infrastructure, and encouraging local companies to participate.
