The event will be attended by Mayor Bang Sehwan, members of the National Assembly, the city council chairperson, and local residents, who will celebrate the opening together.
The event will feature official activities such as a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a commemorative speech by the mayor, and a tour of the facility. In addition, the 'Wujeon Da(Value) Festival,' co-hosted by the Songjeong-dong local community, will be held, creating a festive atmosphere for both residents and visitors to enjoy together.
The 'Wujeon Da(Value) Festival' is designed as a new type of experiential festival where the taste of kimchi-making meets the senses of art. The main programs include a kimchi-making experience, acoustic guitar, saxophone, and band performances, mini cutting board crafting, Jangmyeongru bracelet making, and cheong (fermented liquid) making, offering a variety of hands-on activities and performances.
In particular, the kimchi-making experience is a simplified program where salted cabbage and seasoning are provided, allowing participants of all ages to simply mix the ingredients on-site and enjoy the fun of making kimchi together. Additionally, various exhibition and experience programs will be operated by each institution within the Harmony Center, along with their respective promotional activities.
The Urban Regeneration Center will hold an 'Urban Sketch' exhibition; the Community Childcare Center will offer a 'movie screening'; and the Happy Village Management Office will host a 'sachet air freshener making' workshop, welcoming residents and visitors alike.

Mayor Bang Sehwan stated, "With the establishment of this urban regeneration hub facility, we have expanded the lacking infrastructure in the original downtown, creating a complex cultural space where residents can come together. Moving forward, we will continue to promote the sustainable co-prosperity of the original downtown by providing systematic support to ensure that resident-led urban regeneration takes root stably."
