According to the retail industry on November 12, Lotte Mart and Lotte Super will hold the "Super Save Kimchi-Making Week" for one week from November 13 to 19. This event, organized in cooperation with government ministries such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, will offer essential agricultural and marine products for kimchi-making at reasonable prices, while also providing broad discounts on related supplies and ingredients through their own special sales.
Through the "Nonghal Discount" program, a collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, customers who accumulate L.POINTs will receive a 20% discount on essential agricultural products for kimchi-making. "Napa cabbage (3 count)" will be sold for 5,967 won, "bundle radish (per bundle)" for 6,992 won, "peeled garlic (1kg, domestic)" for 7,992 won, and "green mustard and red mustard (domestic)" for 3,992 won each. Lotte Super will offer the same prices.

Discounts on kimchi-related products have also been strengthened. In addition, on November 15 and 16, a special weekend promotion will offer "domestic pork belly and neck (100g, refrigerated)" at half price, 1,490 won, when paid with an event card.
Lotte Mart began advance reservations for salted napa cabbage earlier than any other retailer, starting on October 1. The convenience of not needing to prepare the cabbage and the reasonable price have been well received by customers, with sales of salted napa cabbage increasing by about 20% year-on-year from October 1 to November 9. Reservations will be accepted until December 14.
