On this day, five second-year students from Chosun University Girls' Middle School visited the Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station and presented handwritten letters, flower bookmarks, and home-baked eggs, all prepared together with their friends, to the firefighters.
One student said, "I became interested in firefighting through a webtoon about firefighters," adding, "I think being a firefighter is a truly admirable profession." Another student shared, "I think saving lives is amazing, so I now dream of becoming a paramedic."
