The "One Meal of Books, One Meal of Heart - Yeoncheon Elderly Happiness Reading School" (hereinafter referred to as the Elderly Happiness Reading School), a program designed to promote reading culture and support a healthy and fulfilling life for seniors in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, successfully opened its doors for the first time last week, bringing happiness and vitality to local seniors.

During the first session, a variety of activities-including a Hwatu card quiz, coloring for cognitive enhancement, and team-based puzzle solving-were offered, igniting the participants' enthusiasm. The lively and cheerful atmosphere was filled with laughter, and the turnout exceeded expectations, marking a vibrant start to the program.
One participating senior shared, "It was wonderful to gather after such a long time, not only to talk about books but also to enjoy various activities. It brought back old memories and warmed my heart." Another senior commented, "Not only did I gain new knowledge, but I also had so much fun with the quizzes that I lost track of time."
The head of one of the senior centers where the program took place remarked, "Seeing our seniors laughing brightly and engaging in diverse activities with Professor Kim Eulho makes me truly proud. The center is now filled with energy, and I am happy to see the vitality returning to our seniors' faces. I hope this program continues to provide comfort and vitality in their lives."
