LS Electric Wins $132.9 Billion Power System Order from US Big Tech Company
Integrated Supply from Low-Voltage to High-Voltage
LS Electric has secured a large-scale order by winning a 132.9 billion won power solution project to supply electricity for a hyperscale artificial intelligence (AI) data center in the United States.
On November 10, LS Electric announced that it had signed a contract worth 91.9 million dollars (approximately 132.9 billion won) with a North American big tech company to supply high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear panels and transformers for an AI data center. This project involves supplying electrical equipment to an AI data center being built in Tennessee, United States. LS Electric will provide products for the electrical rooms of server rooms prepared for AI machine learning, as well as mechanical equipment for the data center, by April next year.
The big tech company in question is a client with whom LS Electric signed power equipment supply contracts totaling 310 billion won from the end of last year through the beginning of this year. LS Electric considers this latest contract as recognition of its performance capabilities in ongoing projects and expressed hopes to continue its partnership in the future.
