Over 340 Public and Private Kindergarten Principals Participate
Strengthening the Implementation of Field-Oriented Policies
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold the 2025 Second Half Early Childhood Education Policy Council on November 11 in the afternoon at the Education Research and Information Center in Yangjeong-dong, Busanjin-gu, targeting more than 340 public and private kindergarten principals.
This policy council has been organized to share the direction of early childhood education policy in Busan, to implement policies that reflect voices from the field, and to promote tangible changes that the educational community can truly experience.
At the council, Park Jaehyun, a lawyer affiliated with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, will first give a lecture focusing on case studies regarding management strategies to protect kindergarten educational activities. Through this, specific response methods and solutions for various situations will be explored.
This will be followed by an introduction to Busan's early childhood education policies and a Q&A session.
The main policies to be introduced include: ▲ measures to strengthen both the curriculum and after-school (care) programs, ▲ support for revitalizing autonomous kindergarten supervision, ▲ directions for advancing Busan-style integration of early childhood education and care, and ▲ support to alleviate parental childcare burdens.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "Kindergartens are the first to face social changes such as the low birthrate crisis and the integration of early childhood education and care. We will actively support expanding opportunities for on-site communication, closely linking kindergartens and early childhood education policies, and ensuring the implementation of field-oriented policies."
