Yongsan District to Hold Tax Seminar on December 12... First 300 Residents to Register Will Be Accepted
Customized Tax Lecture on Inheritance and Gift Taxes
Yongsan District in Seoul (Mayor Park Heeyoung) will begin accepting applications from 10 a.m. on November 11 for the “2025 Second Half Easy-to-Understand Tax Seminar,” with participation limited to the first 300 residents who register. The seminar will be held on December 12 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Garam, the small theater in Yongsan Art Hall (150 Noksapyeong-daero).

View original imageThis seminar is designed to enhance residents’ understanding of the complex tax environment and real estate-related taxes. The theme is “Customized Tax Lecture on Inheritance and Gift Taxes That Residents Must Know,” and it will provide easy-to-understand information on real estate taxation.
The lecture will be delivered by Kim Hoyong, a certified tax accountant specializing in real estate taxation and CEO of Hwadam Tax Corporation. Based on his experience working in the Property Tax Division of the National Tax Service and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Kim will explain key real estate taxes using real-life cases. He is also well known as the operator of the “Minerva Owl’s Tax Stories” blog.
Residents wishing to participate can register on a first-come, first-served basis via the Yongsan District Office website by navigating to “Participation & Communication → Resident Opinions/Participation → Tax Seminar Application.”
