This year's program was centered around the Chuncheon National Museum, Kim Youjeong Literature Village, and the Soyanggang Dam Water Culture Center, and also included a tasting experience of Chuncheon's signature dish, dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken).
In particular, novelist Jeon Sang-guk delivered a lecture on the life and literature of Kim Youjeong, adding depth to the program. Additionally, a humorous madanggeuk (traditional Korean outdoor play) performance based on Kim Youjeong's work "Spring, Spring" was staged, receiving an enthusiastic response from the participants.
Choi Sunghyun, CEO of Gangwon Tourism Foundation, stated, "Chuncheon is a lakeside city that boasts breathtaking natural scenery and is also rich in themed streets imbued with a humanities atmosphere, such as the Kim Youjeong Literature Village." He added, "We will continue to develop a variety of themed travel products that incorporate humanities stories in the future."
