'Gaehangjang Daengdaeng Library' Where Books and Dogs Come Together to Be Held in Incheon on the 8th
An event where people, companion animals, and books come together will take place in Incheon. The Incheon Metropolitan Government and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced that the 'Gaehangjang Daengdaeng Library' will be held on November 8 around the Incheon Sangsang Platform area.
This festival is a healing-style reading culture event where pet owners and citizens can read books, walk, communicate, and create memories together. It goes beyond a simple companion animal event, operating as an emotional space where people, companion animals, and books coexist.
There will be a 'Book Lounge Zone' where any citizen can freely stay and read books, a 'Daengdaeng Playground' (Free Zone and Agility Course) where dogs can run and play to their heart's content, as well as classes on walking training, grooming, and massage with experts.
In addition, participatory programs such as making walking bags, trainer consultation talks, and caricatures will be offered. At the flea market, which is linked with local businesses, visitors can find handmade snacks and pet supplies.
At the Daengdaeng Playground and walking course inside the 1883 Gaehang Square, visitors can enjoy a relaxing time with their dogs while experiencing the autumn atmosphere, creating special memories for families.
Meanwhile, on the same day, the 'Incheon Local Festa,' featuring more than 70 local brand markets from across the country, and the 'Sangpl Cheering Squad,' where visitors can watch and support the Incheon United FC away match together, will be held at the Sangsang Platform Wave Hall and Hall 3, offering plenty to see and enjoy for visitors.
