[Conference Call] Naver: "AI Briefing Now Used by 30 Million... Covers 15% of Search Results"
On the morning of November 5, Naver CEO Choi Sooyoun announced during the 2025 third-quarter earnings conference call, "The AI Briefing, which was launched in March, has expanded its coverage to 15% of integrated search queries (search results) as of the end of September." She added, "AI Briefing is now being used by more than 30 million people."
Choi continued, "The number of clicks on related questions has increased more than fivefold compared to April, when AI Briefing was first launched. Starting this month, we plan to gradually test the personalization of the question area in relation to the answer content. Ultimately, we aim to provide a search experience where ads and content are seamlessly integrated within the answer content, and we will also explore revenue models within the AI agent environment."
Since the end of March, Naver has launched the 'AI Briefing' service, which provides AI-based summary results in both integrated search and Naver Plus Store. Depending on the search keyword, the AI automatically summarizes and delivers the search results.
