Danggeun Attends "2025 Used Goods Trading Platform Seminar"
Discussion on Dispute Resolution Standards and More
Danggeun announced on the 5th that it participated in the "2025 Used Goods Trading Platform Seminar," co-hosted by the Civil Law Research Center of Korea University Law Research Institute and the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies on the 4th, where it exchanged a wide range of opinions with stakeholders on solutions for resolving disputes in secondhand transactions.
This seminar, held for the second time following last year, was attended by representatives from Danggeun, the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), the Korea Consumer Agency, the National Assembly Secretariat, as well as academic experts. Many undergraduate students from the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at Korea University who are interested in secondhand transaction disputes also participated, reflecting the high level of interest in the topic.

View original imageIn the first session of the seminar, Lim Sungmin, Head of Service Operations at Danggeun, presented on "Danggeun's Efforts to Resolve Disputes," introducing the achievements of the past year and outlining the operational direction of the revised dispute mediation system implemented earlier this year.
In the following session, Professor Lee Byungjun of Korea University School of Law and other speakers delivered presentations on topics including: major dispute cases in used goods transactions; standards for resolving disputes in used goods transactions, focusing on electronic devices and clothing; and standards for resolving disputes in transactions of manufactured goods and food products.
During the final comprehensive discussion, expert panelists exchanged diverse opinions on strengthening autonomous dispute mediation by platforms and enhancing public-private cooperation.
