The Friends Talent Volunteer Group, under POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks (headed by Ko Jaeyoon), practiced warm neighborly love by holding a joint wedding ceremony for local multicultural families at Baekwoon Plaza Restaurant in Geumho-dong, Gwangyang City on November 4.
The joint wedding ceremony for multicultural families is an event that has been held since 2007 by the Friends Talent Volunteer Group of Gwangyang Steelworks and the Gwangyang Kaya Lions Club. It aims to create special memories for multicultural couples who have not yet had a wedding and to help them settle smoothly into the local community.

View original imageAt the joint wedding ceremony held on this day, two multicultural couples who had not previously had a wedding made beautiful vows of marriage, receiving blessings and encouragement from many attendees.
The Friends Talent Volunteer Group of Gwangyang Steelworks, together with members and volunteers from the Kaya Lions Club, prepared services such as wedding dress and tuxedo rentals, makeup and hairstyling, photography, and wedding hall decorations to make the event a special experience for the couples, drawing much attention.
Ko Jaeyoon, Head of Gwangyang Steelworks, stated, "Love is about giving and receiving, and marriage is the daily practice of that love. I sincerely wish that the future of these two couples will always be filled with laughter and happiness."
The two couples, who were the main participants, said, "We have long regretted not having a wedding, but thanks to the help of so many people, we are happy to have created beautiful memories. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who gathered today to bless us."
