Daejeon Office of Education Selected as "Best" in Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education Evaluation for Three Consecutive Years
21 Indicators Across Four Areas Including Nationally Responsible Educational Care and Classroom Revolution
The Daejeon Office of Education has been selected as the "Best" education office for the third consecutive year, following last year, in the "2025 Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education Evaluation" organized by the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Education conducts annual evaluations of 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education on the implementation of national policies. This year, the assessment covered four areas and 21 indicators: ▲Nationally Responsible Educational Care ▲Classroom Revolution ▲Together School ▲Efficiency in Administrative and Financial Management of Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education.
The Daejeon Office of Education achieved a "Best" rating by passing (PASS) all 21 quantitative evaluation indicators. In particular, it received exceptionally high scores in specific indicators such as ▲strengthening teachers' digital-based educational innovation capabilities ▲efforts to promote students' mental health ▲expanding autonomy in school budget management, all of which significantly exceeded the evaluation standards.
In addition, as a result of this evaluation, the Daejeon Office of Education will receive a special grant of 500 million won as a financial incentive for achieving the "Best" rating.
