Dongkook Pharmaceutical Launches "Chisen Tablet," a High-Dose Oral Hemorrhoid Medication with Diosmin
Diosmin Content Doubled to 600 mg Compared to Existing Chisen Capsule Products
Dongkook Pharmaceutical has launched "Chisen Tablet," an oral hemorrhoid medication containing a high dose of diosmin 600 mg, designed for patients with moderate to severe hemorrhoid symptoms.
The newly released Chisen Tablet features twice the amount of the active ingredient, diosmin, compared to the existing Chisen Capsule (diosmin 300 mg), thereby enhancing user convenience by reducing the number of doses required. In particular, it is expected to serve as a practical alternative for those with severe hemorrhoid symptoms, frequent recurrences or worsening of hemorrhoids, a need for rapid symptom relief, difficulty swallowing capsules, or a preference for simple hemorrhoid management.

It effectively alleviates various symptoms caused by hemorrhoids-including pain, swelling, bleeding, and itching-by improving vascular elasticity, normalizing capillary permeability, and providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
A marketing representative from Dongkook Pharmaceutical stated, "The newly launched Chisen Tablet is a high-dose product for patients who want to manage moderate to severe hemorrhoid symptoms more conveniently. Currently, a television commercial featuring popular actor Lee Sungmin is also airing, which is expected to further increase product awareness."
