Altos Ventures, which has invested from the early stages in leading Korean technology companies such as Coupang, Woowa Brothers, Toss (Viva Republica), Danggeun Market, and Kream, participated in this program to discover the next generation of innovative companies and conducted in-depth investment reviews of about four startups.
First, Sangil Ahn, Partner at Altos Ventures, introduced Altos Ventures' investment perspective by sharing the founding and growth story of Hyperconnect. Partners Junghwan Shin and Haemin Jung also shared key investment areas, including artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and startup trends observed in the Korean market. During the subsequent closed-door office hours, the four selected startups each held individual meetings with the investors for 30 to 40 minutes. They experienced practical investment review procedures, including IR pitching, Q&A sessions, and feedback.

A representative from Altos Ventures commented, "What matters more than the technology itself is the entrepreneur's ability to define problems and execute over the long term," adding, "Since AI has the potential to fundamentally reshape industries, we are focusing on entrepreneurs who can design sustainable business models rather than those chasing short-term trends."
