View original imageThe Beautiful Restroom Contest was held for local governments, public institutions, and private facilities nationwide to foster a user-centered, pleasant, and safe restroom culture.
Wonju City received high marks in comprehensive categories such as hygiene, safety, design, and accessibility of its facilities.
For this contest, the city conducted a detailed inspection of facility conditions, movement lines, lighting, and safety devices, ultimately selecting the Sogeumsan Grand Valley Integrated Center as the final candidate. The city then systematically organized photos, blueprints, and status reports to prepare the application documents. During the second on-site evaluation, the city facilitated the judging process by providing guidance and support to the evaluation team.
