During this event, the achievements of program graduates and their on-site employment results were shared.
The "Employment Academy" offered customized job training for seniors aged 55 and above in two fields: security (covering basic etiquette, job understanding, emergency response, safety management, customer service, etc.) and housekeeping (including cleaning tool usage, basic service steps, customer service skills, etc.). Out of a total of 48 participants, 12 successfully secured employment.
Participating seniors expressed high satisfaction, stating, "At a time when I felt uncertain after retirement, I gained new confidence thanks to practical job training and support."
Jung Sunyong, Chairman of the Association, stated, "We will continue to review sustainable job support measures to improve the quality of life and expand social participation for seniors," and added, "I hope this Employment Academy will serve as a solid starting point for the next chapter in the lives of our seniors."
Jung Youngsook, Director of the Mapo Senior Welfare Center, said, "Thanks to the support from the Association, many seniors are gaining real employment opportunities," and added, "We will continue to strengthen customized welfare services for seniors in cooperation with the local community."
Meanwhile, following the sponsorship ceremony, the event continued with the "Sharing Happiness Employee Meal Service Volunteer Activity," in which employees of the Association participated. The Association personally delivered 600 healthy soybean milk drinks to more than 600 seniors visiting the welfare center, sharing warmth and care. This activity went beyond simple meal support, adding significance by promoting nutritional supplementation and emotional sharing through intergenerational exchange.
