"Broader Support for Local Youth Dreams"
Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. Boryeong Power Headquarters has launched the "University Exploration and Cultural Arts Experience Program for Middle School Students" for the first time this year, aiming to broaden career exploration and cultural experience opportunities for students living near the power plant.
Boryeong Power Headquarters announced on the 30th that, as part of its support projects for areas surrounding the power plant, it has implemented the "University Exploration and Cultural Arts Experience Program for Middle School Students" for the first time, targeting two local middle schools (Boryeong Middle School and Cheonbuk Middle School).
This initiative was designed to provide local students with a variety of career exploration opportunities, enhance their motivation to learn, and cultivate cultural sensitivity.
Participating students visited major universities in Seoul on August 27 (Cheonbuk Middle School) and September 18 (Boryeong Middle School), respectively, where they toured university campuses and department facilities and attended cultural arts performances, broadening their horizons through hands-on experiences.
Boryeong Power Headquarters held a "souvenir presentation ceremony" at both schools on the 22nd and 27th. During these events, the headquarters personally presented souvenirs bearing the logos of the universities the students had visited, offering words of encouragement.
