Lunit, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company led by CEO Seo Beomseok, announced on the 30th that it will be the only medical AI company participating in the official exhibition hall of the '2025 APEC Summit (APEC 2025 KOREA, hereinafter referred to as the APEC Summit)', which will be held in Gyeongju until November 1.
On this day, in particular, Prime Minister Kim Minseok personally visited the Lunit booth set up inside the Advanced Future Industry Hall at Gyeongju Expo Park and observed a demonstration of Lunit's cancer diagnosis AI solution, 'Lunit Insight.' At the site, Seo Beomseok, CEO of Lunit, demonstrated to the Prime Minister how the AI analyzes mammography and chest X-ray images to assess the likelihood of cancer, and explained the current status of the solution's global expansion.

View original imageThis exhibition within the APEC Summit is hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) with the goal of showcasing Korea's core industrial competitiveness to the world. The exhibition is composed of the Semiconductor Hall, Mobility Hall, and Shipbuilding & Marine Hall. Lunit was selected as the only exhibitor in the medical AI field and is exhibiting in the Semiconductor Hall alongside Samsung Electronics, FuriosaAI, Rebellions, and Angel Robotics.
Previously, Lunit strengthened its position as a leading global medical AI company representing not only Korea but also the world by participating in the official exhibition of the international APEC Summit, following its hosting of a dedicated session at the APEC High-Level Meeting on Health and the Economy (APEC HLMHE) and the World Bio Summit (WBS 2025) held in Seoul last September.

Meanwhile, the APEC Summit was attended by major world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. CEO Seo also participated in the APEC CEO Summit, where he engaged in global networking with industry leaders such as Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Joaquin Duato, CEO of Johnson & Johnson (J&J).
