Multimedia E-Book "Changdeokgung Where Moonlight Stays" Released for Palace Exploration
Explore Palace Halls Like a Game to Find "Stardust"
Free Access in Both Korean and English Versions
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Center released the Changdeokgung multimedia e-book, "Changdeokgung Where Moonlight Stays," on October 30.
Users can access the e-book via smartphone or PC and explore the main halls of Changdeokgung Palace in a game-like format. Guided by the story of a moon rabbit searching for lost stardust, users tour the palace's halls. By completing mini-games such as matching the Ilwolobongdo cards and finding hidden objects in Seongjeonggak, users can collect stardust.
The e-book also features high-resolution photos and videos capturing Changdeokgung's scenery across all four seasons. Both Korean and English versions are available. It can be accessed for free on the National Heritage Center's website.
Meanwhile, the National Heritage Center has won the Digital Publishing Award for three consecutive years with its multimedia book series. All five e-books, including this latest release, and seven audiobooks are available to the public free of charge.
