Seocho District Completes Connection of Barrier-Free Forest Trail in Seoripul Park
A 2.6km Continuous Walking Trail Connecting Phase 1 and Phase 2 Sections
Seocho District in Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seong-su) has completed a continuous barrier-free walking trail in Seoripul Park by connecting the previously separated Phase 1 and Phase 2 sections of the barrier-free forest trail, making it accessible and convenient for everyone.

To address this, Seocho District eased the slope and reorganized the walking route, newly constructing a connection road approximately 0.2 kilometers long. This new connection was designed to allow people with wheelchairs, strollers, and others with mobility challenges to use the trail without difficulty. Additionally, LED lighting was installed throughout the entire forest trail to ensure a safe environment for nighttime use.
As a result, the barrier-free forest trail now stretches a total of 2.6 kilometers as a single, connected path, reborn as a “connected forest trail” that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to seniors. The district expects that the newly improved Seoripul Park will become a healing space in the city where residents can enjoy walking and relaxing in nature throughout all four seasons.
