Naigai Busan Logistics Center in Ungdong Hinterland of Busan New Port Opens and Begins Operation of State-of-the-Art Cold Storage Facility
Busan Port Authority announced that Naigai Busan Logistics Center, represented by CEO Hitoshi Iwasada and located in the Ungdong hinterland of Busan New Port, held an opening ceremony for its cold storage facility on October 29 and has officially begun operations.
The newly expanded cold storage is a modern facility established by Naigai Busan Logistics Center with an investment of approximately 10 billion KRW. It is built on a 1,488-square-meter site, with a total floor area of 4,496 square meters. The three-story warehouse is equipped with six storage rooms for both freezing and cold storage purposes.
With the operation of this cold storage, Naigai Busan Logistics Center will be able to handle an additional 8,500 tons of cargo annually.

Naigai Trans, the largest shareholder of Naigai Busan Logistics Center, is a Japan-based group that currently operates a total of seven warehouses across three sites in the hinterland of Busan New Port. The company employs 130 people, handles 27,600 TEUs of cargo annually, and records total annual sales of 27 billion KRW.
