Jung Youngsun, Landscape Architect, Named Research and Creativity Awardee at Samsung Happiness Award
The Sungsaeng Life Public Interest Foundation announced the recipients of the '2025 Samsung Happiness Award' on October 29.
This year's awardees are as follows: ▲ Research and Creativity Category: Jung Youngsun, Landscape Architect ▲ Society and Safety Category: Cho Seungno, Team Leader of the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency ▲ Integration and Inclusion Category: Lim Jeongtaek, CEO of Hyanggi Naeneun Saramdeul ▲ Youth Category: Jung Yeonseong (senior at Daegu National University of Education), Gil Hyeon (sophomore at Soonchunhyang University), Lee Hyeonseo (freshman at Kyungnam University), Park Chanwoo (junior at Sinjeong High School), and Bae Gyeongin (sophomore at Hyoam High School).

According to the Samsung Life Public Interest Foundation, the youth awardees are exemplary young people who strive to achieve their dreams and goals despite adversity.

Each winner in the respective categories will receive a trophy and prize money of 50 million won (10 million won for each youth awardee), and the awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 1 at the Leeum Museum of Art in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
