Pyeongtaek Port Authority Signs Integrated Maintenance Dredging Project Agreement with Seven Organizations Including Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office
On October 28, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority signed an implementation agreement with seven organizations, including the Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, for the "Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Liquid Berth Integrated Maintenance Dredging Project" to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the liquid berths at Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port.
The Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Liquid Berth Integrated Maintenance Dredging Project is a port integrated maintenance management initiative aimed at resolving issues such as reduced safety for vessel arrivals and departures and decreased berth usability due to tidal waiting, which occurred during the previous individual maintenance dredging processes. The project also seeks to shorten dredging periods and reduce dredging costs.
