Gwangmyeong City to Hold "Healthy Walking Challenge" from November 1 to 15
Cultural Gift Certificates Awarded by Lottery for Achieving 100,000 Steps
Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "Let's Walk Together in Gwangmyeong Healthy Walking Challenge" from November 1 to November 15, aiming to promote healthy lifestyle habits and the culture of walking among its citizens.
Any Gwangmyeong resident or anyone working at a company located in Gwangmyeong is eligible to participate in the event. Participants must walk a total of 100,000 steps during the challenge period to achieve the goal. Up to 10,000 steps per day will be counted toward the goal.
Those wishing to join should install the "WalkOn" app, join the official Gwangmyeong City community, and tap "Join the 13th Healthy Walking Challenge" to start walking. Citizens who reach the target number of steps can complete their participation by pressing the "Enter" button.
Among those who achieve the cumulative step goal, 100 participants will be randomly selected to receive a 5,000-won mobile cultural gift certificate. The winners will be announced and the prizes distributed from November 17 to November 21.
