Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership and KCC Build Win-Win Ecosystem to Strengthen SME Competitiveness
Renewed Agreement Signed for "Strengthening the Cooperative Enterprise Ecosystem"
The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership announced on the 28th that it has signed a "Cooperative Enterprise Ecosystem Strengthening Agreement" with KCC to address the polarization between large and small-to-medium-sized enterprises. This renewed agreement, first established in 2022, centers on operating a win-win cooperation program for large and small-to-medium-sized enterprises over the next three years, including adherence to the "Three Principles of Proper Payment for Delivered Goods." The support plan has been expanded by 2.6 billion won, increasing from the previous 15.7 billion won to a total of 18.3 billion won.
Under the agreement, KCC will operate various welfare programs for employees of its partner small and medium-sized enterprises, including the Tomorrow Filling Deduction Plan, incentives for outstanding employees, and support for sports event tickets. In addition, a new welfare points system will be introduced to enhance employee motivation and quality of life for partner SMEs.
Alongside these efforts, KCC will also operate programs to strengthen the competitiveness of partner SMEs, such as joint technology development (R&D), free leasing of production and inspection equipment, and job training programs. Furthermore, new programs reflecting on-site needs have been added, including the production of promotional content, investment in safety equipment, and support for certification testing costs.
Moreover, for outstanding partner companies requiring technology development and equipment investment, KCC plans to establish its own fund to operate an interest-free loan program, enabling these companies to pursue their business activities without financial burden.
The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership aims to expand opportunities for technology and purchasing consultations and to identify and disseminate best practices. Partner SMEs plan to improve product and service quality and enhance employee working conditions by adhering to the "Three Principles of Proper Payment for Delivered Goods" and strengthening their innovation capabilities.
