Space General Architects & Engineers Wins the Design Competition
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province recently selected the design by Space General Architects & Engineers as the final winning entry in the design competition for the 'Yangju Eoullim Center Construction Project'.

View original imageA total of 122 teams expressed their intention to participate in the competition, and 30 teams submitted entries, demonstrating the architectural community's high level of interest and expectations for Yangju City's public architecture projects.
The evaluation was conducted through a final review by a committee of experts, and in order to enhance fairness and transparency, the judging process was broadcast live on YouTube.
A city official stated, "As a creative and highly complete design was selected through this competition, we expect the welfare center to be successfully established as a new hub for culture and welfare."
Meanwhile, the Yangju Eoullim Center is planned as a comprehensive welfare facility that anyone in the community can use, with a total project cost of 32.5 billion won, one basement level and four above-ground floors, and a total floor area of 5,400 square meters. The goal is to revitalize the local community and improve residents' quality of life.
