Myung Tae-kyun: "Face-to-Face Interrogation Scheduled for 10 a.m. on November 8"
Seoul City: "Arranged at the Request of Oh's Legal Team"
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will undergo a face-to-face interrogation with Myung Tae-kyun and the special prosecutor on November 8 regarding allegations that polling expenses were paid by a third party.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, Myung appeared as a witness at the National Assembly Public Administration and Security Committee's audit of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Speaking to reporters, he said, "A face-to-face interrogation will be held at the special prosecutor's office at 10 a.m. on November 8."

However, Myung stated that day, "You will see today whether Oh Se-hoon is the liar or I am," and added, "Since a face-to-face interrogation is scheduled, if I reveal everything during the audit, Oh's side will be able to prepare for it, so I cannot say everything now. Today, I will only address what Oh Se-hoon has said." He continued, "Regarding the 20 charges and so on, I will distribute a paper document after the face-to-face interrogation."
Mayor Oh is under suspicion for allegedly receiving unpublished poll results from the Future Korea Research Institute, which was operated by Myung during the 2021 Seoul mayoral by-election, and for allegedly having the costs paid by Kim Han-jung, who is known to be a supporter of Oh.
Previously, the Public Administration and Security Committee, led by the Democratic Party of Korea, selected Myung as a witness. The committee had announced that this would be a critical turning point in uncovering suspicions regarding Oh's illegal polling activities and the payment of polling expenses by a third party.

Oh's side has consistently denied the allegations. Even on the morning of the 23rd, when Democratic Party lawmaker Kwon Chil-seung asked Oh about Myung's testimony as a witness in First Lady Kim Keon-hee's trial the previous day, Oh responded, "That person is very skilled at lying. It is not true." The previous day, Myung had referred to Oh, saying, "Do you know why Oh Se-hoon is still walking around outside like that?" and accused him of concealing criminal facts.
