Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyunghyun) announced on October 23 that it will hold the '2025 Guri City Job Fair' at the Guri City Gymnasium (131, Guri Gymnasium-ro) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on October 31.
Hosted by Guri City and jointly organized by the Guri City Job Center and the Guri Women's New Work Center, this fair has been prepared to revitalize local employment and provide customized recruitment opportunities focused on on-site interviews between job seekers and companies, even amid the economic downturn.
A total of 26 outstanding companies will participate in the event, conducting on-site interviews to recruit talent across various fields. Information about participating companies and further details can be found by searching for 'Job Fair' in the announcements section on the Guri City Hall website.
In addition, the fair will feature specialized employment information booths tailored to different groups, including youth entrepreneurs, women, people with disabilities, and vulnerable populations, offering a wide range of job information. Other side events will include free resume photo shoots, interview makeup services, and career exploration using the card-based career diagnosis program (Frediger).
Notably, on the day of the event, a special lecture titled "Employment Strategies Using ChatGPT" (instructor Choi Yunseong) will be held for job seekers, offering a practical session on resume writing and interview preparation skills essential in the era of artificial intelligence.
Guri City plans to further strengthen the foundation for local employment revitalization by providing stable job opportunities for job seekers and a platform for companies to discover outstanding talent through this fair.
