Why Skip the Tasty Cafeteria Lunch? BNK Busan Bank Holds 'Good Lunch Day' Event
Main Office Cafeteria to Close on the 24th
Employees Encouraged to Dine at Neighboring Restaurants
Why did the employees choose to eat lunch elsewhere that day?
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) is sparking vitality in the local commercial district by holding an event where employees eat lunch at neighboring restaurants instead of the company cafeteria.
On October 23, BNK Busan Bank announced that it will host the "Eat Together, Live Together, Good Lunch Day" event on October 24 to mark its 58th anniversary and to help revitalize the local economy.
"Good Lunch Day" is a campaign in which the main office cafeteria will be closed for one day and all employees of Busan Bank will dine at restaurants near the main office and branch locations. Through this campaign, Busan Bank hopes that employees' spending will directly contribute to increased sales for local restaurants.
This event goes beyond a simple anniversary celebration. It is intended to support local small business owners who are struggling due to sluggish domestic demand and economic downturn, and to encourage consumption in the local commercial district. To commemorate its anniversary, Busan Bank is also conducting a variety of activities to promote mutual growth with the community, including cultural performances for children, concerts for citizens and customers, and customer appreciation events.
