[Today's New Arrival] The Season of "Nupsi" Has Arrived... The North Face Launches Remaster Nupsi Down Jacket
A Modern Reinterpretation of Unique Heritage
On October 22, Youngone Outdoor announced that its global outdoor brand The North Face has launched the "Remaster Nupsi Down Jacket," a new product for 2025 and an updated version of its steady-selling "Nupsi" line.
The Nupsi Down Jacket was first released in 1992 in the United States and other regions, and has enjoyed worldwide popularity for more than 30 years. Named after "Nuptse," a prominent peak in the Himalayas, it is The North Face's global signature product. Known for its warmth, light weight, and uniquely trendy design, it has been called by various nicknames such as "school uniform padding," "national padding," and "muscle man padding," establishing itself as a winter fashion icon for many years. In the outdoor industry, Nupsi has achieved rare feats such as open-run releases, limited first-come-first-served sellouts, and active resale markets.

It also uses recycled down filling certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which is a higher-level certification compared to the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) that only certifies the inclusion of recycled materials.
Additionally, its functionality has been further enhanced to withstand not only severe cold but also unpredictable winter weather conditions. Polyethylene yarn, which has more than three times the tear strength of conventional materials, has been applied to the shoulder area to improve durability. The use of a seamless construction method prevents heat and down feathers from escaping through the seams. The jacket's outer fabric utilizes "Dryvent," The North Face's proprietary functional material that offers excellent waterproof, windproof, and breathability performance, effectively protecting against snow and rain while ensuring a comfortable fit.
