Shinsegae Casa Unveils Three New Casamia Dining Collections
Reflecting the Living Dining Trend
Shinsegae Casa announced on the 22nd that its flagship brand Casamia will launch three premium dining collections to coincide with the peak autumn wedding and moving season.
The new products include: ▲ the compact "Pomelo" designed for newlyweds and one- to two-person households; ▲ the multifunctional "Alo," which encompasses both living and dining spaces; and ▲ the "Basel" line, which features a restrained, classic aesthetic. Together, these collections offer new dining experiences tailored to a variety of lifestyles.
"Pomelo" is Casamia's best-selling dining series. The newly introduced two-person compact model allows the Pomelo series-previously available only in four- to six-person configurations-to be enjoyed in smaller spaces. Retaining its signature design, such as rounded corners and bold legs, the compact model creates a stylish and comfortable atmosphere even in limited spaces.
"Alo" reflects the "living dining" trend, where the dining table is placed in the living room and serves not only as a dining area but also as a desk for work and hobbies. The collection offers a range of options to suit different space sizes and purposes, from compact sofas for small apartments, to sofa benches and chair sets for 30-square-meter spaces, and corner sofa bench sets for 60-90-square-meter homes, all of which can be freely selected and combined.
Scheduled for release in November, "Basel" uses luxurious, finely grained ash wood and sturdy veneer to add a warm sense of stability to any space. The tabletop features ceramic with the unique soft and delicate grain and subtle patterns of travertine, creating a richly textured finish.

A representative from Shinsegae Casa stated, "As the boundaries of residential spaces become more fluid, dining furniture is increasingly chosen based on lifestyle rather than strictly for kitchens or living rooms. Casamia will continue to introduce a wide variety of premium furniture that expresses individual tastes and lifestyles while adding sophistication and value to any space."
