BNK Kyongnam Bank Continues to Train Professional Financial Education Instructors
Enhancing the Quality of the One Company, One School Financial Education Program
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on October 21 that it is continuously training "professional financial education instructors" to enhance the quality of its "One Company, One School Financial Education" program.
The One Company, One School Financial Education program is an initiative in which financial institutions partner with nearby elementary, middle, and high schools to provide a variety of financial education activities, including on-site lessons, hands-on experiences, and support for school clubs.
This year, five BNK Kyongnam Bank employees participated in the "2025 Financial Education Professional Instructor Training Course" organized by the Financial Supervisory Service and passed the certification process, which included a written test and lecture evaluation.
In addition to training professional financial education instructors, BNK Kyongnam Bank also designates at least one financial education officer at each branch and supports financial education at schools partnered through the One Company, One School program.
Currently, BNK Kyongnam Bank has established One Company, One School financial education partnerships with 362 elementary, middle, and high schools in the region, and from January to the end of September 2025, the bank conducted 279 sessions of One Company, One School financial education.
Additionally, the bank provided more than 120 financial education sessions for vulnerable groups in the region, including people with disabilities and seniors.
Kim Kyungok, Executive Director in charge of financial consumer protection, stated, "Every year, BNK Kyongnam Bank employees take on the challenge of earning certification as professional financial education instructors through the Financial Supervisory Service’s program, which aims to foster qualified professionals to deliver high-quality financial education. I hope many of our employees will become financial education specialists who possess both expertise and integrity. Moving forward, BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue striving to provide financial education that offers real benefits to local students and financially vulnerable groups."
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank is also working separately to protect customers' valuable assets by collaborating with senior clubs and welfare centers across Gyeongnam Province to provide "mobile digital financial education" for the elderly in the region.
