"Smarter Homes and Classrooms"... Samsung Electronics Showcases AI Revolution in Daily Life at 'KES 2025'
From October 21 to 24, Samsung Electronics is participating in "KES 2025 (Korea Electronics Show)" at COEX in Seoul, showcasing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are revolutionizing daily life in various settings such as residential, educational, and business environments.
For this exhibition, Samsung Electronics has set up a booth themed around real-life spaces such as homes, classrooms, and stores. The company has implemented customized AI solutions for each space using its latest mobile, display, and home appliance AI technologies and products. At the entrance to the booth, a large LED media facade draws visitors’ attention, while the display-focused exhibition area highlights Samsung’s differentiated technological leadership.
Samsung Electronics unveiled its next-generation display, the "Micro RGB TV," as well as the personalized AI solution for TVs, the "Vision AI Companion." The Vision AI Companion is an interactive service that answers users’ questions and provides content information, integrating with Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity to enable a wide range of AI features. The company also introduced the portable screen "Movingstyle," which offers 202 possible customized configurations by combining different display types, screen sizes, resolutions, colors, and stand types.
In the "AI Home" exhibition area, AI-powered home appliances based on SmartThings, optimized for family life, are on display. In the living room, visitors can experience the "SmartThings Automation Routine," where devices such as air conditioners and robot vacuum cleaners operate automatically by recognizing users. The "Family Care" and "Pet Care" features, which allow users to check on family members and pets even when away from home, are also demonstrated. In the kitchen, the "AI Vision Inside" function is introduced, which manages refrigerator ingredients and recommends personalized recipes. In addition, visitors can monitor the energy usage of connected devices in real time and verify up to 60% electricity savings using the "AI Energy Saving Mode" in SmartThings.
In the bedroom area, a SmartThings environment is implemented where curtains, lighting, and air purifiers are automatically controlled according to the user’s sleep and wake patterns. Wearable devices measure sleep data to provide individualized "Sleep Reports" and personalized "Sleep Coaching."
In the exhibition zone dedicated to educational and commercial spaces, various AI technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency are introduced. In the learning space "Galaxy AI Class," visitors can experience Galaxy AI features such as the camera performance, generative editing, and Gemini Live on the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.
In the commercial space, business display products such as the "Samsung VXT (Visual eXperience Transformation) Solution," "The Movingstyle," "Spatial Signage," and "Samsung Color E-Paper" are exhibited. VXT supports remote store management and content creation or replacement for menus, improving operational efficiency. The wireless portable screen "The Movingstyle" can be freely moved around stores thanks to its built-in battery.
"Spatial Signage" delivers three-dimensional visuals by combining high-definition two-dimensional (2D) images with a sense of three-dimensional (3D) space, while "Samsung Color E-Paper" can display images without a power supply, significantly reducing energy consumption.
