NHN Donates 10 Million Won in Event Proceeds for "Dokdo Day"
Sharing in Action Through User Participation in "Hangame Seotda & Matgo"
NHN announced on the 21st that it has delivered the proceeds from a donation event held in its mobile game "Hangame Seotda & Matgo" in celebration of Dokdo Day to the Korea Dokdo Association.
"Hangame Seotda & Matgo" currently offers exclusive top-tier club content such as "Dokdo Defense Battle" and "Dokdo Alliance Battle," both of which symbolically reflect Dokdo. For this donation event, 10% of the amount spent on Dokdo donation items was accumulated for donation. NHN also contributed an additional amount, bringing the total donation to 10 million won. The donated funds will be used to raise awareness of Dokdo’s significance both domestically and internationally, including the development of educational materials related to Dokdo.
"Hangame Seotda & Matgo" will continue to hold various events through the end of the year. Currently, there is an event offering rewards to users who earn medals to commemorate the opening of the Challenge feature. The Challenge, which launched last month, presents six randomly assigned missions out of a total of 24 missions each day. Users are automatically entered into the event when they complete these missions during gameplay, and medals and rewards are distributed based on the final rankings.
In addition, until the 27th, users who earn medals and set representative medals in all three slots will receive a random item box, and those who reach at least Silver Level 1 will be awarded 1 billion Jeon in game currency. Furthermore, 100 participants from all event entrants will be randomly selected to receive 10 billion Jeon.
