Nowon District to Host Hip Festival "Extreme Challenge" on November 1
X-Games, Dance, and Graffiti
A Festival Filled with Youthful Energy
Nowon District in Seoul (District Mayor Oh Seungrok) will host the "2025 Nowon Extreme Challenge" at Nohae Sports Park on November 1. Under the theme "Extreme Moves, Extreme Challenge," this festival is a celebration of youth, featuring thrilling X-Games, dance battles, and interactive programs.
The main event, the "Nowon X-TOP International Exchange Match," will feature four disciplines: BMX, street skateboarding, stunt scooter, and aggressive inline skating. The "Nowon X-TOP," which was remodeled last year, is a dedicated X-Games space made of concrete for enhanced safety and versatility across various genres. Both domestic and international athletes will participate in this competition, showcasing high-level performances.
In the dance competition "N.O.M (Nowon On Move)," 160 street dancers will compete in one-on-one battles across genres such as waacking, house, and hip-hop. Winners will be decided by genre-specific judges, with the event hosted by professional DJs and MCs.
There will also be a "Kids Balance Bike Racing Competition" for children. Children aged 3 to 6 can participate and complete the course with their guardians. Finishers will receive commemorative medals, and top performers will be awarded trophies.
Even those not participating in the competitions will find plenty to enjoy. The venue will feature large graffiti installations for free drawing, a camping rest zone, food trucks, street fashion pop-ups, and face painting. Participants can register through the Nowon District Office website or by using the QR code.
