Scholarship applications can be submitted online by searching for "Hwasun Scholarship Foundation" on Government24, allowing students and their guardians to conveniently apply regardless of time or location.
The second half scholarships include the Hwasun Scholarship (for academic achievement and welfare, targeting university students) and the Multi-Child Scholarship (for high school and university students from families with two or more children), supporting students in continuing their studies and career paths.
For university students, the scholarship provides up to 1 million won based on the actual tuition paid, while high school students receive 500,000 won each. The Hwasun Scholarship and the Multi-Child Scholarship cannot be applied for simultaneously.
Jo Mihwa, Head of the Population and Youth Policy Division, stated, "We hope this second half scholarship will provide meaningful support for local students’ studies and career development. The Hwasun Scholarship Foundation will continue to support the cultivation of local talent in the future."
